may all of your positive thoughts bubble forth...

this took months-- i doodled when inspiration hit and there was nothing else to do. i did a lot while waiting in airports.

thank you! doing stuff like this maintains my insanity at tolerable levels when outside influences threaten to do otherwise.

all i can say is good quality 'gel pens'-- i keep adding new sets to my collection. and i carry a sketch pad and my pencils and pens everywhere, because you never know how bored you're going to get. i used to doodle like that in school all the time.

I love love love doodles like this, the colours and trippiness is fabulous. I'd like to draw more of these myself if I had the state of mind for it.

it gives me something to do with my hands when i have to sit quietly.

i would love to see it if you get the inspiration to draw the psychedelic doodle-- bet it'd be great!

Yeah...but those are mostly pattern imitations. Plus when I doodled I usually thought about it too much (I had a friend who made awesome stuffs and I tried to massage my stuff closer to her style which didn't measure up by far) so yeah, that doesn't tend to work too well ^_-

Speaking of which - I want to go do more mehandi now. Actually I even have some (though it might be old) so I might just have to try tonight.

Sorry I'm being totally rambly and random - yay meds ^_-

I love stuff like that...I used to do doodles like that in college...but usually they were just black and white...

it was always a way to stay awake during lectures in school while i tried to pay attention. i had to keep my hands busy as well as my mind or it would wander. --if you saved any, you should post them. there are a lot of people here who like the intricate doodles.

I did them for the same reason...

Unfortunately, I had a fire and lost all of my college notebooks...but intricate doodling might be fun to take back up...

that's too bad you lost them. you should take it up again-- i know for me the only difference is that i can't see it without my reading glasses but it can be satisfying to do. i'd love to see them if you do them.
