Heh, Kenshin in a kilt. Dude, someone actually realized that Kenshin looks like a guy who'd wear a kilt? The details on the garb here are great. Are the colors from the same model?

I didnt know you did this piece! XD Nice job! I've seen it before, love it, but it seems I never had the chance to comment on it. =O Wonderful job! Did you add the background recently? Or was I just unobservant? XD

thank you!!

yes, you were just unobservant =p i made the tree smaller and moved it on the other more 'finished' picture.

i think you commented on the other one-- (checking) --yep, you did!

thank you. i prefer this kilted kenshin rather than number '2', even in it's rough state-- kenshin's expression and his hair are so much better in this one.

thanks again!

thank you, i always wanted to see him in a kilt-- he's got the right coloring! all that he is, his principles, honor, and what he believed in as his reason to join the ishin shishi is personified by most of the legendary scottish heroes (except maybe for his 'no kill' vow).

This is really different. I like him in a kilt though...it strangely suits him. Just a few suggestion though...try to clean up the smudges and the stray outlines in your piece. It's more appealing to the eye that way. Also try to smooth out the coloring of the hair. Hair is shiny, not rough and textured. (at least I hope not :omg: ) I would also say work on your backgrounds more. ( I shouldn't be talking since I suck at backgrounds  )

Even though there is some touch ups to be done I really like it and it has real potential. :aww:

Oh, so nice! He'd make a great Scotsman. That's an awesome-looking kilt. (But it's not a Utilikilt!) I really like the colors you used in this. The reds, browns, and oranges all work so well together. They really suit him and the feel of this. He looks young here. If this were the cover of a romance novel it'd be something like "The Laird's Heir." LOL! Nice work!

thank you, and thank you for the :+fav::hug:

yeah, he's in traditional kilt. i do prefer the traditional but i still love the uitilikilt.

i used liam neeson from 'rob roy' as my body/costume model (i edited my comments above)-- it is so hard for me to draw all that detail-- i can't do fabric draping and i really messed up the plaid and his leather jerkin, although i don't think i did half bad (lots of shadow made it look better).
