the above is a site where you can judge if your monitor is set too bright or if your contrast is off. what colors are you seeing-- are they the ones you're supposed to be seeing?

i found out that my monitor was set way too dark-- so what i saw in my artwork was not what most everyone else saw-- it was only one picture that was really off-- but i was floored.

here's a deviation that has a person holding a sword-- it's supposed to be very dark and you can really only see his clothing and sword with any clarity, but i couldn't see anything at all and now i can! [link]

my screen is really bright and i'm not used to it-- at least it's fairly accurate.
